Todd A. Higgins, Esq., is a professional arbitrator and mediator with more than twenty-two years of prior experience advising individuals and businesses on complex transactions and sophisticated commercial disputes. He has particularly deep experience providing corporate counsel to entrepreneurs, senior executives, boards, and investors, and representing plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation involving alleged contract breaches, fraud and misappropriation claims, governance disputes, business dissolution, securities and fiduciary violations, intellectual property infringement and licensing, unfair competition, and cross-border transactions.

Mr. Higgins understands the complicated realities of investing in or operating businesses at all stages of growth. In addition to managing his law firm, Mr. Higgins has served in general counsel and other executive roles for numerous private and public companies. Prior to graduating Fordham Law School, where he was a member of the Fordham Law Review and awarded the 1999 Fordham Law Prize (First in Class), Mr. Higgins served as an Assistant Vice President in the banking industry, where he held the Series 63, Series 7, Series 4 and Series 24 securities licenses.
Mr. Higgins is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of New York and Connecticut, and the United States Supreme Court. He is also an active member of the community and previously served as an adjunct professor for the University of Connecticut, where he taught undergraduate courses in constitutional law. He is also a recipient of GCGNY's Henry Wimpfheimer Award for service. Most recently, Most recently, Mr. Higgins co-founded and helped lead an emergency effort at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, in collaboration with Yale New Haven Hospital, to rapidly develop and successfully secure emergency use authorization from the FDA for a device designed to permit emergency sharing of ventilators at a time when the United States was facing an acute shortage of ventilators.
